2.1.In this Privacy Policy, the terms below have the following meanings:

2.1.1.Website” means the site with the domain address abitly.org and all subdomains of the site abitly.org. The Website is a platform whose main task is to implement a simple and effective search by Users for higher education institutions and separately defined information about them.

2.1.2.Visitor” means any natural person who visited the Website, viewed at least one page of the Website without performing any registration actions on the Website.

2.1.3.Registrant” means any natural person who visited the Website, viewed at least one page of the Website and registered on the Website.

2.1.4.User” – Visitor or Registrant.

2.1.5.Personal Data” – any information that can be directly related to a specific User and can be used to identify him (including information about the actions of such person, for example, information about his use of the Website, if such actions are directly related to personal data). We do not consider that Personal Data includes information that has been anonymized and/or that does not allow identifying a specific User.

2.1.6.Owner” or “we” (“us”, “our”) – Public organization “Abitly” - a legal entity registered in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine, which determines the purposes and methods of processing Personal Data, and also processes Personal Data. However, another person may also process Personal Data on behalf of the Website Owner.

2.2.Other terms and definitions used in this Privacy Policy shall be understood in accordance with the provisions of the TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE of “ABITLY”, unless otherwise expressly stated in this Privacy Policy.

3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND PROCESS

3.1.Users agree to provide us, immediately after being notified of the request, any information (including Personal Data) that we deem necessary to comply with the requirements of any law and/or subordinate regulatory legal act.

3.2.Technical (software) tools of the Website may collect the following Personal Data of Users: name and/or surname, place of residence, mobile phone number, e-mail address, links to social networks (instagram, facebook, tiktok, telegram, etc.), gender, date of birth, specialization, educational institution in which the User is studying or has graduated, course of study, faculty, photo image of the User, other information that may be specified by the User. The information indicated by Users during registration may, in whole or in part, be displayed on the Website.

You, as a defined User, give us voluntary and unconditional consent to the collection, processing and posting on the Website of the above-mentioned Personal Data and their transfer to third parties, in order to ensure the functioning of the Website, as well as in order to implement the functions of the Website.

3.3.In order to implement the functions of the Website’s information system, we also collect such Personal Data as: the history of active sessions of Users in the Website’s information system. When you visit the Website, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. In addition, as you browse the Website, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Website, and information about how you interact with the Website. We refer to this automatically collected information as “Device Information”.

  • obtaining additional information about such institutions, highlighting the conditions of admission to them, obtaining statistical data on admission to higher education institutions, etc.

  • to track and analyze actions related to the use of the Website and/or our services;
  • to provide third parties with statistical information about Users (but these third parties will not be able to identify any individual User from the information we provide);
  • to verify compliance with the TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE of “ABITLY”;
  • to improve the quality of the Website (its services), ease of use for Users, development of new services and services;
  • for targeting advertising materials;

If you withdraw your consent to the processing of Personal Data and we do not have legal grounds to continue processing your data, we will stop processing your Personal Data. If we have legal grounds to process your data, we have the right to continue using your Personal Data within the limits prescribed by law.

Please note that we may retain some or all of a User's personal data and not delete it until all possible requirements related to the User's Personal Data have been fulfilled (for example, regarding the provision of services, prevention of fraud, compliance with any legal obligations, resolution of disputes, execution of agreements, etc.). In the event that we delete any data created by the User, including Personal Data, such data will be deleted from the active database, but may remain in our archives. The archived version of the data is not intended for use as a backup and is not available to the general public.
